Refund Policy
At Baby Steps GP, we understand that life can be unpredictable, especially during pregnancy and early parenthood. Our refund policy aims to provide flexibility and transparency, ensuring you feel supported throughout your journey with us.
Booking Confirmation
- Your booking secures your place in a course or session. Each booking is for one person, but you’re welcome to bring a companion at no additional charge.
- You’ll receive a booking confirmation email with details of the dates, times, and venue. Please keep this for your records.
Amendments to Bookings
We understand plans can change, so we offer the following options for modifying your booking:
- More than 6 weeks before the course start date: You can transfer to an alternative course or session, providing there is a space, for a £25 administration fee.
- Less than 6 weeks before the course start date: Transfer requests may not always be possible. If granted, additional charges may apply for higher-priced courses, and the administration fee will be £40.
- After the course has started: No transfers or amendments are permitted.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

| More than 6 weeks before the course start | 75% of fees paid. |
| Less than 6 weeks before the course start | No refund, except in exceptional circumstances. |

Exceptional Circumstances
We recognize that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Examples include:
- Premature birth (before 37 weeks of pregnancy).
- Medical complications affecting your ability to attend, supported by documentation from a healthcare provider.
For approved exceptional circumstances:
- You may receive a partial refund for unused sessions or be offered a transfer to an alternative course. If a full paying alternative attendee is able to take your place then I am happy to offer a full refund.
Course Changes or Cancellations by Us
- If we cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient participants, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course.
- If we need to move a session online or change the venue, we will notify you in advance.
Processing Refunds
Refunds are processed within 7 working days of approval. Please note that refunds for amounts under £5 will not be issued.
